Information
An unmissable hike for nature lovers and panoramic views. Cerro Centinela is one of the most charming trails in Villa La Angostura, combining forest, river, and natural viewpoints with an unparalleled view of Lake Nahuel Huapi and the Quetrihué Peninsula.
The excursion begins with the transfer from the accommodations to Route 40 heading towards Bariloche. After an introductory talk with the guides, the hike starts along the banks of the Huemul River, surrounded by native vegetation. After about 40 minutes of climbing through the forest, panoramic views begin to appear, accompanying the final stretch to the summit.
At the summit, a 40-minute technical stop allows for an outdoor lunch and contemplation of the vastness of the mountains, islands, and Patagonian lakes. The descent is made via the same trail, returning to the starting point where the driver awaits for the final transfer back to the accommodation.
A trekking experience with local charm, perfect for those seeking nature, activity, and unique views.
