Information
A full-day excursion to discover some of the most stunning landscapes of Northern Patagonia.
We depart from Villa La Angostura along the legendary Route 40 heading towards Bariloche. Along the way, we visit the Enchanted Valley, an area marked by wind and water erosion that has shaped unique rock formations.
We continue towards the Traful Confluence, where the Limay River receives waters from the Traful, and then we venture into the steppe towards the Traful Valley, home to ancient Mapuche settlements and spectacular views.
The route continues to Cuyín Manzano, a natural gorge where condor sightings are common, and then to Villa Traful, a picturesque mountain village on the shores of the lake of the same name. There, we make a stop for lunch and enjoy free time to explore the area.
On the way back, we ascend through the Portezuelo and resume the Route of the Seven Lakes towards Villa La Angostura.
